Important Notice re Oireachtas na Mumhan

We wish to advise all dancers, teachers and parents that due to the ongoing COVID situation, Oireachtas na Mumhan 2020 has been deferred until January 2021.

We will update further on November 1st If we are still at level three or higher at that stage the event will be cancelled .

We thank you for your patience during these challenging times.

While all Munster counties were at level two, there was a chance that we could run the event. However, as things stand we must prioritise the health and safety of all members of our Irish dance community and play our part in the suppression of the virus.

 Until we dance again.

 Bígí slán!

 Comhairle na Mumhan

Munster Stand Up and Dance

During Lockdown 2020, dancers from each county in Munster took part in an Inter County Irish Dance Challenge. All dancers were invited to represent their county and this resulted in an incredible 1100 videos of talented dancers from Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. Each video was presented by Marty Morrissey and supported by county GAA heros.
