The Rules of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha

The objective of An Coimisiún is to preserve and promote Irish Dancing including step dancing, céilí dancing and other team dancing. While its main function is the promotion of Irish Dance, it is also the aim of An Coimisiún to promote the Irish language in association with Conradh na Gaeilge (CLRG: 2013)

In September 2016, an updated rules booklet was produced by An Coimisiún le Rinci Gaelacha. The booklet outlines the rules that govern competitors, teachers and adjudicators.

Ennis Fun Day

Last weekend, in the Ennis Showgrounds Clare, teachers got together and ran a fun day for the wonderful community of Irish Dance.
Kids gathered from all over the county, who in the last nine weeks danced in a marque that was put up by the Clare dance teachers association. They finished with a fabulous event of fun and games.
